About the Event
A hands-on class for those looking to expand their homesteading skills & begin a flock of chickens. Perfect for new farmers or kids wanting to see what it is really like to care for & benefit from having poultry! This class is open to adult accompanied children and adults of all ages. No pets please. Service animals welcome.

- Rebed a chicken coop using the litter box method.
- Harvest eggs & store them properly
- Feed & interact with poultry
Understand:
• What chickens can & can't eat
• Herbs & vegetables that work well with poultry
• Local rules & regulations for owning chickens
• How to care for a hurt chicken & more!
